It has been reported that Facebook will soon roll out the feature of ordering food online from the app. No need to open up restaurant page or any of the food app, as Facebook is trying to play smart by providing all-in-one solution.‘Order Food’ is given on the right side of the app menu, a shortcut to place an order. For now, the new feature has been tested on selective users in US. Also, TechCrunch says that there isn’t any fixed timescale for the Facebook feature to come to our apps.

This would come as a partnership between Facebook, Slice and Delivery.com. Both these food delivery services are in US so more partnerships must be stricken in order to make this feature workable worldwide.

Whole process from placing order to payment happens inside Facebook app. Nearby restaurant options will be given and after picking the one, a confirmation screen will appear on user’s mobile which will tell how much time your order would take.
