LG says it will not take any legal action against Qualcomm

  Uzair Khan

I must say this “work-triangle” between LG, Samsung and Qualcomm is getting interesting day by day. First we leak a rumor then they deny the rumor and this is how the big news industry continues to operate amidst the shaded truth. The last thing we updated regarding Qualcomm chipset overheating issues is that they could be redesigned for Samsung specifically. Hence, there is a staid chance of LG might exercising lawsuit. Potentially, redesigning means that current chipset LG has deployed in G Flex 2 is below par. But surprisingly, the Korean company did not even miss a minute to dismiss this rumor of lawsuit and contacted sources to make a clear statement of its stance.

“Rumors regarding LG taking legal action against Qualcomm are unfounded and a complete fabrication of the facts. Given the source of this rumor, we’re surprised it’s being taken seriously at all.”

Now it is self-evident from the brief that the two companies are still in excellent relationship. LG has already dismissed any chipset issue so far in its new LG G Flex 2 which will be available in home market anytime soon.
