Samsung J1 has been in the news for quite a time. Previously, it was leaked as a first member of a new entry level smartphone series by Samsung. Now a full sheet of specifications has been unveiled along with photos of the handset. The display of the phone measures 4.3″ and has WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels). It is powered by the Spread trump Pike chipset humming at a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 and 512MB of RAM, and 4GB internal storage (expandable by another 64GB). In camera department it has 5MP rear shooter for recording 720p@30fps video as well as an LED flash and a 2MP camera for selfies. The battery is 1,850mAh. Its dimensions measure 129 x 68.2 x 8.9mm and weighs 130 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS + GLONASS. The Galaxy J1 runs Android 4.4 KitKat. It will be available in both Nano and Dual-SIM version. The pricing and availability is yet not known. As we are unable to verify the sources of leak thus any change in above sheet should be expected.
