Samsung Bixby button on left edge of the phone is more often an irritation than a help. Normally Bixby Home launches with the quick press of a button and Bixby Voice over long press.

Latest Bixby Home update enables the user to disable the key of the phone. For this, open Bixby Home and tap over the settings option given on the top. Menu with single option will show. User can enable or disable from this menu.

Another way to disable Bixby is to go to Bixby Home to Settings and then to Bixby Key. Select ‘Don’t open anything’ option.

So, by going either way, Bixby button could be disabled and it won’t irritate user anymore. Third party applications for customizing Bixby aren’t needed especially when Samsung has provided the best way around.
