We often see the two giants in any field facing off each other in a stiff competition. When this comes to the mobile phone industry and the focus is on bigger screen size notoriously known as Plus size phones, the two leading giants are Samsung and Apple.

In this regard, in the ongoing period, Apple’s iPhone 8 Plus and Samsung’s Galaxy S8 Plus are squaring off each other. Both the smartphones look very much familiar in design as well as size.

When one compares the two phones, it will be noticed that Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has a better as well as bigger display as compared to iPhone 8 Plus. That is due to the 2960 x 1440 P-OLED at 529 ppi in case of the former. Moreover, S8+ has much better screen as compared to iPhone 8 Plus, which only has 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, and that too at only 401ppi. Another distinction between the two is the edge-to-edge design in case of Galaxy S8+.

So, when talking about the plus size phones, the current winner is Samsung Galaxy S8+. Who knows tomorrow? Maybe it could be iPhone’s turn?!
