iPhone 7 in rumors may feature a Three-sensor camera

The apple has recently managed to get Patent from the US Patent and Trademark office for three-sensor light splitter camera technology for its next iPhone successor dubbed iPhone 7. It will allow Apple to use more pixels compared to single sensor thus drastically improving the video and picture quality. Apple is definitely on serious venture to improve the iPhone 7’s video quality.

Currently the rumors are that iPhone 6s mass production will start from June. There is a possibility that same camera technology will be used in this smartphone. Apple is working to introduce this technology with same in its upcoming iPhones to make them the best camcorder. The technology splits the incident light entering the camera into three wavelengths or colors via mirror, lenses or prism. The wavelengths are then directed towards the sensors.
