Israeli company sues Apple for infringement in dual camera patent

An Israel-based company named as Coreophotonics, which specializes in the manufacturing of dual-camera technology, has sued Apple. A lawsuit was files by the company in the US District Court in Northern California. This is where Cupertino is actually headquartered at.

The Israeli company actually claims that Apple has been copying its technology in case of iPhone 7 Plus as well as iPhone 8 Plus. However, in filing this lawsuit, the company has not mentioned iPhone X, which is the latest one by Apple and was launched just a week ago.

Coreophotonics had actually revealed its dual camera technology last year and demonstrated how two images could be combined together in order to produce one detailed photo.

Moreover, following the complaint, Coreophotonics further said it received many good feedbacks and positive reviews from Apple, but the patent agreement was never reached, and Apple has been intentionally using its patents without any deal.
