iPhone 7 Plus is again leaked with offering dual-camera set up

The September is far away from sight, but the Cupertino is already buzzing the features of its upcoming handset in the rumor mill. Very recently a KGI analyst has speculated that the iPhone 7Plus will launch with dual-camera setup. In a new report, Kuo has reported that the device will feature the aforementioned camera set up or at least a certain version of it.

Keeping an eye on the past tradition, Apple launched its flagship lineup in in two variants. One is tipped to be 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and the other would be 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus.

The rumor states that the possibility of dual-camera is likely to happen with iPhone 7 Plus. As per Kuo, The device will come in two CIS setup, likely to be driven by LinX –a company that has expertise in ultra-compact camera sensors for sleek smartphones and the Apple took over it in 2015. The rumored set up includes a 12 MP sensors with OIS and a wider field of view. It also has a 2-3x telephoto lens.

Kuo also reported that a different variant of iPhone 7 Plus models will have a dual-camera setup. The options will be exclusive which will also reduce the production constraint in terms on new technology. He is speculating that only 25% to 35% of shipped iPhone 7 Plus units will have the extra feature. This is not very Apple kind but it is likely to happen to avoid tech lapses which happened before.
