Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor has just confirmed that 9 mobile phones will get the new EMUI 8.0 in China. The Honor 8 is also mentioned among these nine smartphones, although an official has affirmed previously that this smartphone will not receive an Android 8.0 Oreo update. The EMUI 8.0 is entirely based on the Android Oreo, so, may be the company will just add some features of the new UI on the Honor 8 smartphone, but it will not send the complete version. Notably, this means that Honor 8’s new User Interface will look like EMUI 8.0, but it will not include Oreo Update.

Here is the complete list of Honor smartphones that have been ratified to receive EMUI 8.0 in the forthcoming months: Honor 7X, Honor Note 8, Honor 8, Honor V8, Honor 8 Lite, Honor 9 Lite, Honor V9, Honor V9, and Honor V10. Although getting EMUI 8.0 doesn’t inevitably means that these smartphones will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo.
