HTC has rolled-out the major Android OS update despite of its financial difficulties. Most of the HTC’s flagship devices, which released last year have already been updated to the Android 8.0 Oreo, so now it’s time for the company to consider a little older devices.

Currently, HTC has chosen the 2016 flagship smartphone to receive the major Android OS update. So, if you own HTC 10, you should tap the ‘Check now’ button and look whether your smartphone has got an Android 8.0 Oreo update.

Notably, this is a huge 1.8GB update, so make sure you have enough space and your battery is properly charged. The update comes along with December security patch as well, but surely you will be more eager to try out some of the new features that arrive with Android 8.0 Oreo.

However, yet it is unknown whether Android 8.0 Oreo will be the last major OS update for HTC 10 or not.But, soon the HTC will confirm it once Google reveals Android P.
