Google Play Store currently has two launchers. One is Google Now Launcher and other is Pixel Launcher. Pixel Launcher is obviously for Pixel devices, while the Google Now launcher is being discontinued by Google.

It is being reported that Google Now launcher will be discontinued till 1^st quarter that will be 31^st of March 2017.

Also, as per sources, Google has e-mailed its mobile service partners and has notified them for the discontinuation of Google Now Launcher.

Those companies which want to use the feature of Launcher, for instance, information cards, can continue to use it. However, it will not be available for general public.
