Souq.com now officially gets credited from the government for consumer protection certification, and it’s the first ecommerce website to achieve the milestone. The certification would protect consumer rights.

Dubai Initiative Joined by Souq.com for Safer and Easy Online Shopping

The website will showcase the consumer protection logo along with the signed memorandum of understanding with Dubai Economy’s Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP). Souq joining the initiative is the latest update in the series of upgraded measures CCCP is adopting to promote compliance and regulate ecommerce. This would also liaison the best global practices online and offline among commercial entities.
