BlackBerry latest smartphones are not earning much for the division, therefore, there is shift of plans. Recent rumors and Reuters claim that BlackBerry is now up to Android smartphone.
As per report of Recode, a slider phone with a touchscreen on the top was showed off at this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) by BlackBerry and would be supposedly company’s first Android smartphone.
According to Recode notes that this move is aimed at promoting the company’s cross-platform Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) solution dubbed BES12. It would send a signal that BlackBerry is “confident that the BES12 system can not only manage, but also secure smartphones and tablets powered by rival operating systems,” the report said.
