It appears obvious to some people vis-à-vis the decision by Apple to discontinue Apple Watch Series 2, and that seems logical as well. That is because the company has unleashed Apple Watch Series 3 just a couple days ago, which not only has better features but also has LTE connectivity.

So the new replacement will definitely let the company discontinue the previous edition. However, the new edition has higher price and the one with cellular connectivity will specially go down quite hefty on pocket. A cheaper alternative will be Apple Watch Series 1, which is still available.
