Report: New iPhone Sales might suffer in Q4 2017 but thrive in Q1 2018

Where some reports suggest that Apple will be certainly looking for making quick gains through release of new iPhone 8 and 8 Plus and iPhone X later in November, other reports suggest that this won’t come as true. Daniel Gleason, Ovum’s senior analyst, stated about two kinds of iPhone buyers, i.e. those who will be eager to buy new iPhone will wait for iPhone X, and those who would be satisfied with iPhone 8 or 8 Plus will buy it only after reviewing first the iPhone X.

In Gleason’s view, the late arrival of tenth anniversary edition of iPhone will actually negatively impact the Apple sales. Though the launch of new iPhones earlier have been positive for the company, but the iPhone X’s late arrival will actually cut Apple’s sales off at least in Q4 this year. However, Gleason suggests that sales will increase by a great margin in Q1 of 2018.
