A market research firm comScore has recently received a survey report showing the gain in market share of Apple’s iPhone as well as iOS.
As per the report, the Cupertino’s market share reached 43.5% ending May which is 1.8 percent up from the 41.7% share it had in February this year. While Apple occupying the top spot, Samsung secured the second position with 28.7% share, up just 0.1 percent point. The others in the top 5 include LG, Motorola, and HTC with declining market share.
The research firm also did mobile OS survey. Google’s Android as usual secured top spot with 52.1% market share, down from 52.8% it had at the end of January. On the other hand, Apple’s iOSagain got hold of second position, up by 1.8percent to 43.5%. Microsoft, BlackBerry, and Symbian rounded up the top five with 3.0%, 1.3%, and 0.1% market shares, respectively.
