Amazon.com is about to launch a video service via which users can upload videos on Amazon. Starting from Tuesday, those holding Amazon account can upload Original or Licensed videos via Video Direct Service. Those who will be uploading videos can decide whether their videos will be for free or they will charge rent on it. The will also decide either videos will be for subscribed channels or will only be available via $99 Prime Paywall.

After the start of this service, Amazon will not only be an online retailer but will be a multimedia powerhouse too, as currently it also sells big screened movies and TV series.

Amazon has also introduced a video streaming service in competition with Netflix, where it is charging $1 less than the streaming giant.

The Amazon will provide an inexpensive resource to creative professional video streamers via Video Direct Service. Amazon will reach consumers via it Video App on mobile devices, Setup Box like Roku, and Website.

Amazon will keep 45% earned from the videos which is close to YouTube. Company will keep 50% in case of channel subscription and from the one who rents or buys the video.

On watching video on ad free Prime, Company will give 15 cents in America and 6 cents outside America. Video direct service is for everyone and it can also block objectionable content anytime.
