People are least private when they are on social media apps, esp. it is difficult to hide displays like profile picture. If you want to hide your profile picture on WhatsApp, this how you can do this, if you have current version of WhatsApp.

• Just move to Settings and then Account privacy
• Then select from among the three options

1. Everyone-Visible to the public by anyone.
2. My Contacts- visible to contacts of phonebook.
3. Not anyone-invisible.
4. Only visible through your phone.
