Xiaomi has recently reduced the price of Mi4 in China. The new price will be applicable from April 8. Previously the device was available at $322 whereas the reduced price is $290.A lower version Mi4 has also experienced price reduction. It was previously priced at $290 and will now be available at $274.

The new price tag is really attractive for what is being offered in exchange. The smartphone packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset and 5” 1080p display. Camera-wise, it has 13MP main shooter, and 8MP front facer.

This might be an initiative to boost company’s sales as Xiaomi has planned to ship 100 million units this year.
