Back in December, WhatsApp announced that it is working on it feature to allow video calls to subscribers. Very recently, it has been rumored that the feature is on the verge of roll out. A selected number of users currently have access to this feature running the beta app. This app feature is still under testing phase but will soon see a global roll out.
According to a new rumor, the App is also working on a way for group invites to be sent using NFC tags and QR codes. Also there is another feature on the way that will give users the ability to send voice mail for who is not answering the voice call. Meanwhile, a call back button is also said to be in works. There are rumors about the ZIP file sharing support as well.
WhatsApp has been making this firm this time as BBM has already rolled out its video call support for both iOS and Android in US and Canada.
