Back in September 2017, the boss of Samsung Mobile DJ Koh revealed that the company is going to launch a foldable smartphone any time in 2018. Unfortunately, delays are going to be involved there and in the upcoming CES event, it is feared that the foldable phone will not be released, and its launch date has been pushed forward to any time in 2019.

Koh further said that in case of the commercialization of foldable phone, UX is the main hurdle, but he ensured that the company is already working on the problem and it will be resolved as soon as possible.

On the other hand, another report emerged from South Korea also provided some details about the foldable phone of Samsung and company’s future plans about the device. The report further suggests that the company is going to develop its foldable display by March this year and the panels will be fully manufactured by September. Moreover, mass manufacturing of foldable smartphones will begin from November this year.
