Samsung patent suggests the future phones will have behind-the-screen selfie cameras!

The recent smartphones have been coming with shrinking bezels, due to which the fingerprint sensors were pushed to the back. Shrinking bezels have even caused the designers to think about replacing the selfie cameras. However, they cannot be placed at the back, after all they are there for taking the selfies. So, recently, the fingerprint readers were placed below the screen. Can it be done with the selfie cameras too?

As a matter of fact, Samsung is already working on that. A new patent by Samsung appeared, which shows that everything will be moved inside the surface of the screen, which will include the earpieces as well as ambient and proximity light sensors. The patent also shows that there will be a traditional replacement of camera on topper side of the phone. However, if the camera can be put inside the screen, then it can be placed anywhere in the front panel after all. This is, so far, a good development, which will help Samsung achieve the 100 percent screen-to-body ratio in case of the future phones where the bezels will reach the zero level.
