Telenor India has planned to exit business from Indian market but so far has not found any buyer in this regard. Telenor in India previously planned to upgrade its services to 4G but very recently it is quietly planning to exit Indian Telecom sector, the unobvious and obvious reasons being unknown.

Telenor India will soon Exit Telecom Business in India.

The company has spectrum in seven circles but operates in just six of India’s 22 zones with airwaves only 1800 Mhz band with valuation between $1.6 to 1.8 billion. But experts believe that it should complete the deal within 1 billion as spectrum being the major thing.

The experience of Telenor in Indian market is full of disappointments. It has primarily invested three billion to build the business but reap a very little to show its progress. After losing its Indian licenses in 2012, Telenor fought its way back but never had a true space in the industry.
