From past few year we have been watching movies that have great topics and amazing direction and story. This seems a pretty fair revival of cinema in Pakistan. There is gradual appetite among public to watch cinema. In this regard, EasyPaisa has acknowledged the efforts of Pakistani Film Industry and collboarted to support local talent.

EasyPaisa has recently sponsored “Arth 2”. This equates to giving a chance to emerging talent, and boosting the confidence of very nascent film industry. The goal is to propagate win-win collaboration where both sponsor and artist benefit from increased awareness.

Arth 2 is an official remake of an Indian movie Arth (1982), which was directed by Mahesh Bhatt. It has beautiful soundtrack by Sahir Ali Bagga and songs by RahatFateh Ali Khan.

Muhammad Yahya Khan, Chief Financial Services Officer, Telenor Pakistan and Head of Easypaisa expressed:

ShaanShahid (5th Element), writer and director of Arth 2 also said,

Hammad Chaudhry (HKC ENTERTAINMENT) said at the occasion,

“HKC entertainment has been in the film industry for over 50 years within production and distribution. We are very excited as producers and distributors to see the revival of cinema in Pakistan. Our audiences want to see more and more Pakistani films and we are committed to produce and distribute quality films for them in collaboration with the support of corporate industry.

The film is likely to hit cinema houses in 2016; the date of release will be announced later.
