Sony announced at the unveiling of it three flagship smartphones Xperia XA, Xperia X and X Performance that it will start shipping its handsets in June. Before that the pre-ordering needs to start and there has announcements via Xperia blog that it is around the corner.

Sony Xperia XA and X will be on pre-orders very soon.

Those who are interested and have registered for the smartphones have been receiving e-mails that the pre-ordering time will soon begin. There is also an “exclusive offer” attached for those who are buying Xperia XA and Xperia X along with Xperia Ear headset. At the moment, no one knows what the offer is about. It could either be discount or freebies to be given away by the company.

While it is not clear whether Xperia X Performance will have the same offer, it is evident that all the handsets will sell in US “unlocked”. There is no signs of any deals with carriers right now.

The Xperia X has replaced the Xperia Z family this year at Barcelona’s MWC. The Xperia X Performance and Xperia X come with a lot of commonalities, which includes 5-inch 1080p displays, 23 MP rear cameras, 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB of expandable storage space. However, the chipset differs where the X Performance is featuring a high-end Snapdragon 820, whereas the X comes with mid-range Snapdragon 650. As far as the Xperia XA is concerned , it is more modest while packing  5-inch 720p almost bezeless display, and runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM.
