The smartphone sales in 2014 have surged the most. According to recent Gfk report there is growth rate of 23 % year on year. Last year for the first time billion marks has been crossed making it up to 1.228 billion. It is the actual report on how many handsets are in use against the ones showing how much is being shipped by the manufacturer.
Latin America was the major market where the sales soared. The figure rose from 68.7 Million in 2013 to 109.5 Million in 2014 which makes a percentage increase of nearly 60 %.
