The Galaxy J3 which received TENNA and 3C certification earlier this month is now being listed on company’s China website with the moniker Galaxy J3 .However, it is worth mentioning that China’s variant is slightly different in design and specifications but rest of the things are similar to J3 model (SM-J3109) cleared by FCC, US-based certification.

The J3 runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz CPU, and comes with 5-inch 720p Super AMOLED display. Further, it packs 1.5GB RAM and 8GB expandable internal memory. It is powered by a whopping 2600mAh battery. In terms of camera, the handset carries an 8MP rear unit and a 5MP front facer. It weighs 138g and measures 142.3 x 71x 7.9mm.

Meanwhile, it is important to note official listing doesn’t include any information on the Android version smartphone is running, however, the model certified by TENAA was running Android 5.1.1 out-of-the-box. On entertainment side the smartphone comes with Milk Music app, and a Smart Manager tool provides features including virus scans and battery care.

However the price tag and availability of the J3 in and out of the country are yet to be revealed. We also cannot comment whether or not the device will become available outside China.
