A report from China has recently unleashed that variants of Samsung upcoming S7 for China and US market, are highly likely to carry Snapdragon 820. Apart from these two countries’ variant, other variant will come with home-grown ExynosSoC. Samsung started using its own-build chipset with the current S6 due to concerns regarding SD810 overheating issues.

Samsung S7 US and China variant is likely to pack Snapdragon 820

The Snapdragon 820 latest packs proprietary Kryo cores accompanied by quad-core. For graphics it deploys Adreno 530 CPU. Qualcomm has done its best to improve the functionality that slashes power requirements and stimulates a more precise thermal management. Meanwhile, Galaxy S7 is rumored to launch in February.

Samsung is now testing its phones in a different manner. Sometimes it checks Snapdragon 820 inside, while the other time it loads Exynos 8890. However, as far as display size is concerned, 5.2-inch model and a 5.8-inch variant of the Galaxy S7 is also in rumors next year. Both models will sport 3GB of RAM and 4GB, respectively.

As nothing has been confirmed yet take it as a pinch of salt.
