According to reliable tipster Evan Blass, Samsung has delayed the release of S8 series by one week. Initially, it was on 21^st of April, now it has been pushed back to 28^th of April.

Originally, the handsets were to launch at MWC 2017, then rumors started coming for March 29^th launch, which was confirmed by a video unveiled at MWC 2017.

So what is causing the delay? Firstly, there could be problems in mass producing Snapdragon 835 to meet high demand of Samsung Galaxy S8. Secondly, the Note 7 Fiasco has made Sammy more cautious to release its handsets, and they are counting on more secure measures on battery to avoid further accidents.
