It is safe to assume that Samsung has no major announcement to make this year. The S7, S7 edge are out and we have the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 7 now in hands despite many controversies. However, the mantra of having something new never gets of consumer’s mind.

Despite this, the handset everyone is least concerned about is next Samsung Galaxy S8 which is rumored to come in two variants. The first is 5.1-inch and the other will be 5.5-inch display-wise exhibiting dual edged technology. Since we are hearing no flat screen this time, it is the time Sammy might be ruling out this entirely.

If we consider the previous launch dates of Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy S6, and Samsung Galaxy S7 with might see the pattern in dates pulling forward. The S5 and S7 were launched in February while the S6 was launched in March. So we still see the next MWC launch date to be the time frame of announcement.

So keep the tradition Sammy will launch its high-end just a day before MWC at Barcelona which could be February 26 which is a day ahead of MWC launch date February 27.

Despite all safe assumptions, keep your finger crossed until Sammy announces something entirely off the hook for the launch time.
