Microsoft website is running a sale on virtual reality headsets and two of the latest additions are HP and Acer Windows Mixed Reality Headset Developer Editions.

Clearly the names of the headsets are suggesting that a developer can buy these ones and not the other users for this time now.

These headsets aren’t expensive i.e. at $329 (about £250 / AU$415) & $299 (£230 / AU$375) user is buying quite a good deal for Oculus Rift or HTC Vive as previously VR headsets sale price was at $399 / £399.99.

Sad thing is, this would benefit the ones with the app or game makers. But soon, the VR headsets would be available on sale to shop from regular shoppers (we are not sure how soon, probably in a month or 2); luckily developers or game makers would get their hands on experience first. Developer’s build and ‘sale first’ tactics by big companies show that they badly want developers to be on their side of positivity.
