The company has announced that Oculus Rift and the Touch controller would get permanent price cut. The new price will be effective after the Rift sale ends. However, during the sale which is currently up, price of the Oculus Rift and Touch controller bundle is $399 / £399 i.e. $200 cut from everyday price.

Rift summer sale will last only for 6 weeks after which game enthusiasts could have the bundle offer of $499 / £499. Although, not as good as the available sale price but the price cut would be permanent.

Originally the sale price of the bundle is $598. To make it easy, if you buy the Oculus Rift and Touch from the summer sale you have to pay only $399 / £399 but if you plan to buy after 6 weeks of the sale, you will have to pay $499 / £499.
