Asus Zenfone AR is now released for preorder at Verizon, it also supports Google Tango AR tech and Daydream VR. Price of the AR enabled handset is $648 or it could be purchased by availing the lease plan i.e. $27 each month.

Product page is up and live at Verizon and soon it will announce confirm ship date. The device is only in 128GB and the second phone to be packed with Tango technology after Lenovo Phab 2 Pro.

Tango technology effectively mix sensors and cameras to locate objects and can sense the depth. Then pick and place the virtual objects, viewable from camera viewfinder.

Affirmation of using this AR handset for Daydream means it supports the VR headset made by Google.

On the other hand, Asus is quite on the availability at Verizon and the set price, even refused when asked in San Francisco press event that happened last week.
