Last night, when Apple CEO Tim Cook was exhibiting some of the actions and gestures that iPhone X users will be performing for getting on to the home screen or while doing the multi-tasking, most of the people, who have used or are currently using BlackBerry 10, might have thought that the latter was just released ahead of its time.

These gestures in new anniversary iPhone do really take us back to the old memories of BlackBerry 10.

The feature of swiping up from bottom in the new iPhone X screen for taking you back to the home any time while using was the feature used in past in the BlackBerry Passport.

Moreover, BlackBerry 10 variants and models also did not have a home button just like in the case of new iPhone X. This is something that has not yet been introduced in any Android smartphone.

So we can really say that BlackBerry took the lead in this respect, and it was certainly ahead of its time.
