Outlook Update for Android and IOS – A Great Impulsion by Microsoft

Outlook has its users, people who uses Outlook now must be glad that Microsoft has just released the new update of Outlook for both Android and IOS. As this update does not have any extraordinary changes, but still it will some improved features so users can manage their contacts efficiently.

Firstly, now the IOS users can add and edit their contacts from their Outlook on IOS devices, but this feature is not available on Android, but soon they will get this feature. Moreover, this update brings a lot of changes in contact card, as it is completely redesigned; now it offers their users for more details that include New Conservations and Shared Files.

How you can Create New Contacts:

For creating the new contact in IOS Outlook you may:

  • Go to People Tab then Tap to + Sign
  • Go directly from a message by tapping the name of the person, and select Add Contact
  • Simply search people from Search Bar and add

The new contact option has many more features added in this update. Like by tapping on any contact now you may see all the details of that particular contact that include phone numbers, email addresses, contact’s pictures, and other social accounts information. Furthermore, the new contact card now displays your most recent conversations, shared attachments and all the meetings that you have been planned with that person in your list. Lastly, for both the Android and IOS now can save the contacts in the Default Contacts, so can see detail information directly in the contact app.

All the changes you made with the contacts in Outlook will automatically sync with the built-in Contact App. It also enables the Caller ID feature with the Outlook contacts and it can be done by tapping Settings> Save Contacts tab.
