We can’t beat WhatsApp in all the messaging it is providing. Recently, WhatsApp that is also retained by the Facebook planned to update it with the introduction of some new features that will be truly focused photos and videos like “Filters” and “Albums”.

First thing that is added for the users is that there will be Color Filters for the chat service. Users can easily now edit their photos, videos, and interestingly also they can capture their GIF with filters. There are 5 different options for filters available at this time, it includes “Pop”, “Black and White”, “Cool”, “Chrome”, and “Film”. Users can use these filters by just swiping the image or video and pick up your favorite. The next thing that is added is about the Albums. When the user will get minimum 4 photos or videos at the same time from someone, and it will automatically make an album for it. This album is scrollable. WhatsApp for IOS also make an easy way of reply, that it will make Reply Shortcuts. You can enjoy this feature by just swiping right and left to your message you want to reply. Moreover, if you are in the Group Chats and a member asks a question that quickly zips by. You can easily go back to that point and reply directly to their question as it is lost in the shuffle.

As these changes are also directed to Android, but they didn’t announce any time frame that when it will be available on Google’s Platform. Up till now IOS users can enjoy these updates and some with the IOS 11.
