After giving several hints about the introduction of Face Unlock feature in OnePlus 3 and 3T, the company has now officially confirmed that this is going to be integrated into these two smartphones. In the recently held CES 2018, the global director and co-founder of OnePlus Mr. Carl Pei said that both of these devices will be getting this functionality in the soon upcoming beta build.

Moreover, while commenting on the decision, he further said, “there’s no reason to withhold features we can easily implement.”

It is also worthy to be mentioned here that OnePlus 5T was the first device by the company, which had the Face Unlock feature, which was then made available to the recently released OnePlus 5T.
