After unveiling the official bend test due to controversial third party test which claimed S6 edge to be less inflexible, Samsung is now up to another test that is the drop test which will show how breakable the device will be once it smashes the floor. The test is now public. There is nothing much surprise in the test and it is the same attire we saw when Galaxy Note 4 was released. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were dropped from the height of chest with back towards the ground. Both subjects survived it. In one scenario, Galaxy Edge falls at the edge but again reported no damage. Samsung also explains why this is so. Samsung has been designed in way that Aluminum frame strikes first reducing influence on the glass. Also the hardware is arranged in a way that it minimizes the chances of breakages.
