If you don’t own a Galaxy smartphone, you may have an idea that Samsung has its own internet browser for Android which is called Samsung Internet Browser.  Other than Galaxy phones, the new version of Samsung Internet Browser is compatible with Google Pixel and Google Nexus handsets. Earlier on just its beta version was available to non-Galaxy devices.

Now Non-beta Samsung Internet Browser is available for Pixel and Nexus phones too!

If you have a Pixel or Nexus phone it is possible to download Samsung Internet Browser from Google Play. Just as Google Chrome, Samsung Internet Browser is based on Chromium, which is the open source browser project of Google. But, Samsung’s app has a bit different feel. It offers few features which are not there in Chrome. These include support for privacy-focused search engine DuckDuckGo as well as a floating Quick Menu button which allows you to open new tabs,
change web page text sizes as well as share pages.
