Nokia 5 will be available for purchase through offline retail shops in more than ten big cities of India on this special occasion of ‘Independence Day’, August 15. HMD Global has affirmed the retail availability of the smartphone earlier this week. Just to refresh, the Nokia 5 smartphone was launched in the month of June, and available for pre-orders last month in the major cities of India which includes Chennai, Ahmedabad, Calicut, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Delhi NCR, Indore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow and Mumbai.

Nokia 5 is available with the price tag of INR 12,499 in India, and the handset is available only in a single RAM and storage stock keeping unit. The Nokia 5 will go on sale in only Matte Black color option at the start. But eventually it will be available in more color options including Silver, Cooper and Tempered Blue. The HMD Global has also mentioned some launch offers such as a bundled Vodafone 5GB data package at INR 149 per month for three months only, and INR 2,500 discount on Makemytrp.com subject to INR 1,800 off on hotels and INR 700 off on domestic flights.
