Facebook and Messenger will stop working on few devices as per previous announcement. Facebook has recently announced that it will not work on older versions.

Here are some older devices which will be discontinued the support.

• Android
  • Facebook will discontinue supporting Android v55.
  • Messenger v10 and below.
• iOS
  • Facebook will stop working on iPad v26 and below.
  • Messenger v8 and below.
  • Facebook for iOS and below.
• Windows
  • Facebook will stop its support for Windows Phone.
  • Messenger will discontinue to exist for Windows Phone 8 and 8.1.
  • Facebook will not keep support for Windows 8 and 8.1 desktop app
