It seems that LG will not compromise on its upcoming flagship and will not settle for older hardware. The tech giant has already joined hands with Qualcomm to make sure that the chipmaker’s next high-end mobile platform, which might be titled Snapdragon 845, will be there on its flagship in 2018. Yes it is the LG G7.

LG will not compromise with next flagship

It seems both the firms havebegun the development work in this regard. According to an industry official:

The adoption of the Snapdragon 845 for LG’s next flagship phone seems inevitable, considering the emerging virtual reality and augmented reality solutions require more powerful data processing capability.

As per LG, the configuration with the 2016 chipset is more steady and optimized compared to smartphones that depend on the new Snapdragon 835. However, we don’t really know if these claims will win many consumers to go for a preceding SoC. But this approach by LG at least proves that the Korean tech giant will make no excuses in 2018.
