The experts from University of California has successfully made a processor Kilo-core which has 1000 cores. Before that the processors which were made did not succeed to pass 300 cores. Kilo-Core processor is made on IBM CMOS 32nm technology.

This processor fragments the bigger application into smaller applications. Every small application is processed in a different core. This processor, processes an instruction 100 times faster than a normal processor.
