New feature will help the broadcasting user to split his screen mode in a Instagram live broadcast with a friend. To add a friend into a live stream is simple and not complicated, user just has to tap on the new icon given on the bottom which is shaped like 2 smiley faces. Then, he has to select a friend (needs to be added) and he will be able to split a screen vertically with that friend.

Apart from this update, Instagram comments, option to save story, hearts and videos stays the same.

This new feature was rolled out by Facebook in May into Facebook Live. Also, the same feature has been copied by Snapchat and it will presumably be out by the end of this week.

Currently, Instagram is trying the new feature on limited users and it will be available for everyone in couple of months.
