We know that Apple and Samsung are among the top 10 best-selling phones in the US.

According to a latest report, Samsung has now moved to the top in US market share in the last quarter. The tech gaint reached 36.2% market share during the last 3 months while Apple sits at 34%. However, Samsung’s achievement still seems to be a little less from what it managed to achieve back in 2016 during the same time with its Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.

The report suggests that the Galaxy S8 launch helped the smartphone company to regain the top position in the US. However, the leap from the flagship launch was less compared to what was expected from a product redesign.

Apple and Samsung account for all of the top 10 best-selling phones in the US. Both companies are evenly split having 5 devices each. The iPhone 7, 7 Plus, Galaxy S7 and S8 occupy the top 4 places on this side. The LG G6, on the other hand, managed to attain only 1.3% of the market up till now.
