The communication Minister Manoj Sinha said today that India is ready to organize its Indian Mobile Congress; it will be held in September 2017 for the very first time. After that, it will be a yearly event. From the very long time it was felt that there is a need to organize such a great grand event of worldwide level to demonstrate how telecom and technology industries are growing in India.

The India Mobile Congress will bring together all stakeholders from the industry and government on a mutual podium and will be surely an appealing opportunity for all who engaged to seek and explore new level in the world of Information and Communication Technology. So, it seems that it will be a tremendous event of the telecom industry and a proud moment for all of us.

The three days Indian Mobile Congress will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, on 27 to 29 September 2017, and will see the participation of Internet giants, Telecom Service Providers, Global technology players, government bodies, handset manufacturers, ISPs, , AI & VR companies, app providers, Academia, Start-ups and Mobility leaders. It is expected that telecom giants like Ericsson, Huawei, Nokia and also the telecom operators like Bharti Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular will participate in the event. IMC is expected to draw 5,000 paid participants and 800 exhibitors.

COAI director general Rajan Mathews said that countries like the US, the UK, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Korea, the Philippines, Bhutan and Japan have showed interest in participating and creating awareness around the upcoming event.
