Honor 8 Pro 6GB RAM with Dual Camera setup launched in India

Huawei’s baby-brand Honor has launched the Honor 8 Pro in India today. It was already officially announced on June 23 at an event in Mumbai. The smartphone was launched first in its home market China with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. In India, the smartphone is launched with little bit changes. The Honor 8 Pro has been launched in India with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and comes with the price tag of Rs. 29,999. The smartphone Honor 8 Pro sale will be held on July 10, exclusively through Amazon India only for its Prime members. However, the regular sale debutson July 13 via Amazon India. The Honor 8 Pro will be available in platinum gold, navy blue and midnight black color options.

The major highlight of the Honor 8 Pro is its dual camera setup. The smartphone has a dual snappers of 12-megapixel at the back with f/2.2 aperture, duo-tone LED flash, 4K video recording capabilities andauto-focus. On the front side, it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Honor 8 Pro has a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD display (1440×2560 pixels), which is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 960 octa-core processor, along with6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, which can be expandable up to an additional 128GB using a microSD card. The smartphone houses a 4,000mAh battery.

The Honor 8 Pro is running on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone’s User Interface is layered with EMUI 5.1 Honor’s own custom OS. Other connectivity options on the board include 4G LTE,dual-SIM (nano SIM + micro SIM) support, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB Type-Cand Bluetooth 4.2.
