Huawei’s baby brand Honor has joined hands together with GoPro right before the launch of Honor 8 Pro in India. Honor is working jointly with GoPro to facilitate the promotion of its upcoming smartphone Honor 8 Pro. The major feature of the smartphone is its dual camera. Honor 8 Pro smartphone devices will have a GoPro’s pre-installed Quik Mobile app that will facilitate the users to edit photos and videos.

The smartphone Honor 8 Pro’s photos gallery has a feature called “highlights” through which filters and effects can be applied to improve them. The feature worked by automatically selecting the photos and videos for the app.

GoPro is the world’s best action camera manufacturer, and by joining hands together both companies will get the benefit. As GoPro’s Quik Mobile app will be pre-installed on Honor 8 Pro is also giving publicity to GoPro’s app.

Huawei wants to advertise Honor 8 Pro with its dual camera as the main highlight of the handset. The smartphone’s dual camera uses one lens to capture picture in RGB and the other lens capture in detailed monochrome. Honor 8 Pro’s rear camera has f/2.2 aperture and is capable of 4K video recording, featuring laser auto-focus and LED flash. The front selfie camera is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Honor 8 Pro has a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD display. The smartphone is powered by Kirin 960 octa-core processor. Honor 8 Pro will be launched soon in India at the end of this month with an expected price of almost Rs. 39,000.
