A technical mishap in LINUX Cornel has made the 66 percent of Android devices vulnerable. The hackers can now easily break into these devices.Security firm PerceptionPoint has given this bug a name of CVE- 2016- 0728. This error is present in the LINUX Cornel version 3.8 which was launched in 2013. The company said that hackers can access the server, damage it, and get to the complete route anytime.

With this, the hackers can break into Android 4.4 KitKat and later versions, infect the application and take hold of the servers.

If we estimate, around 1 billion and 40 crore devices are running Android OS. So a sizeable number of devices are under threat. The company said there are still no proof that hackers have broken into the system, however, until the company rolls out new update to fix it, million devices are on the verge of collapse.
