The Government of Punjab will soon introduce Free WiFi in Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi. According to the plan the WiFi will be available in public places and government offices.

According to a report, in the next few days, the preparation of free WiFi availability in Lahore will be complete. In Lahore the WiFi will be available to 12 parks, 17 important markets and 20 colleges.

Minister of Punjab Mian. Shahbaz Shareef has given permission to make WiFi availabke in educational institutions, hospitals, railways stations, Metro Bus Route and Bus stations. In order to execute this plan, PITB has given its special contribution.

Sindh Government has also planned for free WiFi in Karachi, however, there is no deadline announced for this plan so far.
